The Mind of God

In the Scriptures of the Bible it reads, "My ways are not your ways,
my thoughts are not your thoughts.  Mine are from above while yours
are from beneath."  Here God is saying to the people: you don't think
like I think.  And your ways are not like My ways.  My ways are above,
yours are from beneath.
       If God's ways are above and God's thoughts are above and ours are
beneath then there's a gulf between man and God.  And as long as that
gulf exists between man and God man cannot ever be what God originally
created him to be; which is in His own image and likeness.  You can't
be in the image and likeness of God in form and not in mind and spirit
and thought.
So, if we are created to be in the image, from the scriptural or
Biblical point of view, in the image and likeness of God, then we are
created with the capacity to be able to think like God.  And therefore
if we can think like God we can act like God.  God's actions are Godly
and when a human being acts Godly that means that human being is
thinking on a higher level.  Are we in agreement?
          In the Gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, Jesus never talks
about God's thinking.  He just says as a man thinketh in his heart so
is he.  You can't get a people truly resurrected just by curtailing
their actions.  We have to get into the mind of the human being to
elevate the thinking of people.  And when people can think above they
will rise above.  Clear?
       Okay.  So Jesus says, as a man thinketh in his heart so is he.  How
do you think in your heart?  The heart here [chest] is not the heart
that the scriptures are talking about.  The heart that the scriptures
talking about is the core of the person's being-thinking.  That's the
real heart.  It is the essence of the individual.  It is rational.  It
is intelligent.  It is not emotional.
       When you think of the heart you think of emotion.  But to think like
God we have to be able to think above emotion.  And that's what
separates man from God and beast from man.  Beast is moved by
appetite.  Man is controlled by emotion; but God is the master of the
process of reasoning.
       So in the teachings of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad we are taught
that Islam is Mathematics and Mathematics is Islam.  The Nation of
Islam, according to our Lessons, is all wise and does everything right
and exact.  We can't do things right and exact unless we do things
mathematically.  To do things mathematically is to do things with
precision.
       When you do things emotionally you throw away mathematics.  And most
of our decisions in life are made not from know-ledge but from
feelings.  [The minister sings] Feelings, nothing more than feelings.
If you haven't got nothing more than feelings you in bad shape.
Children feel.
       Mature people think on the basis of know-ledge; actual facts.  How
do you feel?  I feel fine.  You don't ask the person, what do you
know?  How do you feel?  That shows the level that we operate on.  We
operate on feelings.  And that's why we're hurt so much and we're all
so bound up subjectively, because we're moved by emotion.
          God has emotions.  But He doesn't make decisions with emotion.
God is so magnificently mathematical.  He can plan long range and the
people get thrown off by the majesty of His mathematics 'cause it does
not have emotion involved.  God has emotion, but He's not ruled by
emotion.

The Islam World

   One may ask, "What is True History?  What is True Religion?"  True
history is the history without falsehood and true religion is the
same, a religion without falsehood.  The present history of the Black
Nation given by their enemies, the white race (the devils) contains
falsehood.  So does the religion called Christianity contain
falsehood.
   The Black Nation's history given by their God, One who is Truth
Himself and loves the Black Nation and One who knows the beginning and
end of all things, is the True History and that God's Religion is the
True Religion for His people.  The knowledge of the Truth was not to
be given to you and I until the Time given to false-hood (the devils)
had fully expired, because falsehood was allowed to rule the Black
Nation for a time to try that Nation; something never experienced by
the Original Nation (Black Man) before and never will it happen again.
But, the experience made the Black Nation much more wiser to the
knowledge of self, and of that other than Himself.
   Knowing that iron ore exists in the earth is one thing.  Mining it
out of the earth and putting it into the service of people is another
thing.  Regardless of how strong iron appears over that which He made,
for it is foolishness on the part of any manufacturer to make that
which he has not the power to master.
   The Devils white races' knowledge of the so-called Negroes is like
that of one who captures or steals a cub lion and takes it home for a
pet or train it to obey and follow him, or to do acts and tricks
contrary to the nature of the lion's family, for fun or commercial
purposes.  He could not tame the old lions to do his bidding for he
had not the knowledge of the birth and original tamer of the old
parent lions.
   The so-called Negroes of the original nation, who have been deprived
of the knowledge of their own selves and nation by their slave masters
(the devils), are not living and acting the life of themselves, but
rather the life and acts according to their masters, (the devils).
   Now, they will even fight and oppose anyone who attempts to try
teaching and training them into the True History of their own and
others.
   The Truth has come to us from the God of Truth and Falsehood must
vanish.  Stop being the actor--jumping and dancing at the music of
other than your own.  Allah (God), the Best Knower of Truth, has
taught me the Truth to give to you who will hear and believe.  He said
that there is no birth record of the Black Nation.
   We are the Original people of the Earth, and the Originator (God) of
the Universe was a Black Man, and its’ powers is controlled by a Black
Man.  Not since we had our deportation from Moon (66 trillion years
ago) has the Secret of God really been revealed to the public.
   The Holy Qur-an Sharrieff comes closer to it than the Bible, though
the Bible gives a very ugly symbolic description of God in the book of
Daniel and the Revelation; of all Truth, the Greatest is the Truth of
God and His enemy, the devil.
   The knowledge of self and others is really a blessing that can't be
compared or even duplicated.  Especially coming to us, the so-called
Negroes, whom the world looks upon as fools, and fools we were before
the coming of Allah in the Person of Master W. F. Muhammad, to Whom be
praised forever.
   He taught me that six trillion years before, we saw that the Star was
essential to have in our Flag.  That was seventy-two trillion years
ago.
   Six trillion years after putting in the Star, which brings us to
sixty-six trillion years ago, we made the Moon and put it in our Flag.
The Moon is a part of the Earth.  She is devoid of water and
vegetation and in the deportation, the Moon lost all of its water on
this part.
   Before the making of moon we used Mars for our Moon, which is
forty-eight million miles from the Earth.  Before the making of the
present Moon, the Earth was thirty-six thousand miles closer to the
Planet Mars.  Of course, that is only a fraction when compared with
the great distances between our Worlds.
   Again, there is some secret sciences about these figures for there is
life on Mars and six other Planets, but not the type of Earth life
that you and I are a part of.  They are referred to in the language of
the Seven Worlds and Seven Wisdoms of Allah, to Whom be praised
forever.
   The entire present Universe was made in six periods of time,
according to the Holy Qur-an but whether these periods were of six
billions or six trillions periods, I can't say, but I must surely
disagree on your Bible's theory of six thousand years of which we know
refers to this world of Satan's creation and rule.

​The Honorable Elijah Muhammad teaches that the name of the planet earth is Asia and that it is an ancient name. Therefore, it should stand to reason that one should be able to find references or etymological clues of the word Asia in the lexicon and iconography of ancient languages. The root of the English transliteration of the word Asia is “As” and the suffix is “ia” meaning place, for example, Ethiop(ia) or Philadelph(ia).
The Black Ancient Egyptian civilization is the most referenced civilization by the Honorable Elijah Muhammad and he stated that the rich Nile Valley is the location where the Tribe of Shabazz discovered was the best place on the planet to live on along with the present seat of the Holy City, Mecca, Arabia.
Now, there is a phonetic equivalent of the root “As” in the Ancient Egyptian hieroglyphics (Mdw Ntr) and incidentally it is the root word of the most venerated of female gods of Ancient Egypt (Kemet) who is popularly known as Isis or in Ancient Egyptian “Auset” or “As’t”.
The hieroglyph for “As” is a throne or seat. Egyptologist have struggled to give an adequate meaning for this hieroglyph as it relates Auset/As’t/Isis, for it has

been suggested that Auset/As’t/Isis has ten thousand names. Although this number may be an exaggeration to some let us realize that the Ancient Egyptian or kemetic gods/goddesses represent more than personalities, they (along with symbolic hieroglyphics) represent the cosmic forces and elements that make up the universe itself. Oftentimes, a symbol represents several different things, ideas or phenomena and conversely a single thought, principle or phenomena can be represented by a single symbol or a combination of symbols (hieroglyphics). For instance, the letter X is a monogram of God, a symbol of Christ, the nineteenth consonant of the English language, the Roman numeral for ten, the unknown quantity in the algebraic system of mathematics and etc.
The ancient Greek philosopher Plutarch states that, ”Isis is, in fact, the female principle of Nature, and is receptive of every form of generation, in accord with which she is called by Plato the gentle nurse and the all-receptive. . . Isis is sometimes called Muth, and again Athyri or Methyer. By the first of these names they signify "mother,". . . assign to Isis the name of Earth.”
Is not the Blackwoman the great world Mother the source of all life itself. Does it not make perfect sense that the earth would be named after the esoteric personification of the Black Goddess, the Divine Feminine, the Black Woman. What sound does the letters “a” and “s” make? And what do they have to do with the primordial groanings of the universe itself? And what of their mathematical equivilancies? Is it significant that the letters “a” and “s” are the first and nineteenth letters of the English alphabet?
The Egyptologist Wallis Budge states in “Osiris and the Egyptian Resurrection” that, “The word As(t) means seat, throne, abode, chamber, house, place, and etc., but there seems to be no possibility of connecting any one of these with the attributes of the goddess in such a way as to give a rational explanation of her name, and none of the derivations hitherto proposed can be regarded as satisfactory. As the wife of Osiris she was her husband’s throne, as the mother of Horus she was the house in which he came into being, as the great world-mother she was the abode in which all life originated, and her womb was the source whence sprang gods and men, the harvest, and all living creatures.”
Now, how does this square with the nineteen lettered question (presented to us in the Student Enrollment portion of the Lessons-The Supreme Wisdom), WHO IS THE ORIGINAL MAN? He answers that, “THE ORIGINAL MAN IS THE ASIATIC BLACKMAN, THE MAKER, THE OWNER, THE CREAM OF THE PLANET EARTH, GOD OF THE UNIVERSE.”
Why did Master Fard Muhammad preface Blackman with the term Asiatic? It should stand to reason that this was not done just because the Blackman is of Asia (which he is). It is because the term Asiatic (in this sense) denotes the position and/or station of the Blackman. And the rest of the answer to the “Who is the Original Man?” question clarifies and extrapolates on that position and/or station.
So the question is, what is that position and/or station of the Original Man as it relates to the term Asiatic? In this sense (ASIATIC) Blackman means (ENTHRONED) Blackman. Being that the root of Asiatic “As” means throne/seat. Enthroned here arguably is used as a verbal adjective modifying Blackman by qualifying and specifying it. Enthrone means, according to the New College Edition of the American Heritage Dictionary of the English Language; “1. a. to seat on a throne. b. to invest with sovereign power or with the authority of high office. 2. to raise to a lofty position; revere, exalt.”
Additionally, Enthroned also being a verb, past participle to be exact (please note that another term for past participle is ‘perfect’ participle) simply means: a verb form indicating past or completed ‘action’ or ‘time’. Therefore, the phrase ‘Enthroned Blackman’ quintessentially means that the Blackman has already been perfected.”
Of course, not all Blackmen/women are perfect (complete) in this action or time, but the Honorable Elijah Muhammad, as an example for us, is the first begotten of the (spiritually and mentally) dead who becomes One with God. The Ancient Egyptian/ Kemetic god of resurrection was Osiris/Asar. Notice that Asar is a compound term ‘As’ (throne) and ‘ar’ which is represented by an eye. Here ‘ar’ seems to give ‘As’ additional weight. The eye can be translated as a verb meaning ‘to make’ or ‘maker’ or ‘to do’ or ‘doer’. Therefore, one meaning [of many] of Osiris/Asar means “one who makes his seat” or “seat maker”. This meaning is further extended to ‘one who takes his seat or throne’. Thus, this takes us back to the Who is the Original Man? question.
The Honorable Elijah Muahmmad is the fulfillment of the Osirian/Asarian prototype as both of their roles center around resurrection. Unfortunately, space prohibits me to attempt to fully explain this at this time, but does not George G. M. James state in Stolen Legacy that the purpose of the Egyptian Mysteries was to make man into a god or to become godlike. Henceforth, we can extrapolate from this that the Blackman is becoming One with God (through the process of atonement or at one ment or at one ness) and is being placed in rulership over himself and of all creation. Here, we see the Anthropocosmic principle or the Anthropic cosmological principle dimension of the teachings of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad. All one has to do is actively qualify oneself to ascend to his or her throne. Does not Problem #13 state: Sit yourself in Heaven at once! That is the greatest Desire of your Brother and Teachers. Another way of saying ‘sit yourself’ is ‘enthrone yourself’.
Also, during the Theology of Time lecture series (June 18, 1972), the Honorable Elijah Muhammad stated, “That is why I take about two hours each time, to pull you up gradually, so when you get up on top, you will know how far you have come to reach the top and that you could master your seat up there on top. God said to me, teach you and He will set you in heaven. He didn’t say run you in heaven. He will set you in heaven.”
In the (NOI) study guide #10 The God Within, we are asked this significant question, “What is meant by placing a Ruler in the earth?” The answer that is provided for us states, “ ‘ I am going to place a Ruler in the Earth.’ Not on the Earth, but in the Earth. [let us remember that the name of the Earth is Asia]. Where did you come from? Your flesh is from...the vegetation of the Earth. Your bone is from...the stone of the Earth. Your blood is from...the water of the Earth. This lump of flesh and blood and bone has to have a Ruler in it. Something that commands it; something that dominates it...”
“...God is going to form this body and He knows that you are supreme above the Sun, Moon and Stars; above all the creatures. You are the Supreme Existence --- Man and Woman. He is going to place in you a ruler.”
“In Hebrew, ‘Ruler’ means ‘Elohim’ or ‘God’, ‘Divine Essence’, ‘Will’, ‘Divine Force’. God shares Himself with Man and Woman. The only reason you can say I is because the True I has shared a part of His I AM with you, that you may be...He, Allah , God, places in you a Power from Himself...”
Further, in the same Study Guide another significant question is asked, “What evidence is there that God has indeed placed a Ruler in the Earth?” The answer provided for us states, “God is a man and we just cannot make Him other than man, lest we make Him an inferior one; for man’s intelligence has no equal in other than man. His wisdom is infinite; capable of accomplishing anything that His brain can conceive. A spirit is subjected to us and not we to the spirit. “ (Message to the Blackman, p. 6)
“Allah is He who created the heavens and the earth and sent down water from the clouds, then brought forth with it fruits as a sustenance for you, and He has made the ships subservient to you to run their course in the sea by His command, and He has made the rivers subservient to you...And He has made subservient to you the sun and the moon , pursuing their courses; and He has made subservient to you the night and the day...And He gives you all you ask of Him. And if you count Allah’s favors, you will not be able to number them. Surely man is very unjust, very ungrateful.” (Holy Qur’an 14:32,33).
“...Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the Earth and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.” (Genesis 1:28)
"Many people perceive the setting up of a Ruler and the establishment of a kingdom as a man sitting on a gold chair, wearing flowing robes and a crown.
"The true meaning is that Allah (God) is settling Himself on the brain (throne) of Man, by placing His own depth of knowledge, wisdom and understanding within us.
“And He is who created the heavens and the earth in six periods; and His Throne of Power is ever on water that He might manifest (the good qualities in) you whoever of you is best in deeds.” (Holy Qur’an 11:7). The brain is surrounded by liquid (water) in the skull to act as a cushion to protect it.”
It is no coincidence that there are numerous Ancient Egyptian representations of Osiris/Asar sitting on his throne that is above water.
Now it has been clearly established that the brain and throne are both synomonous terms; and, of course they share each other’s esoteric attributes. To further secure this analogy we should refer to one of the most oft repeated verses of the Holy Qur’an: "Ayat-ul-Kursi" or “The Verse of the Throne” according to the Yusef Ali translation of the Holy Qur’an, while Maulana Muhammad Ali translates this verse as “The Verse of Knowledge”. Here again we see the synonymous correlation between the aforementioned terms.
Yusef Ali’s translation says: “His Throne doth extend over the heavens and the earth, and He feeleth no fatique in guarding and preserving them. For He is the Most High, The Supreme (in glory). In his footnotes 296 and 298: This is the Ayat-ul-Kursi, the “Verse of the Throne”. Who can translate its glorious meaning, or reproduce the rhythm of its well-chosen and comprehensive words. Even in the original Arabic the meaning seems to be greater than can be expressed in words.
Throne: seat, power, knowledge, symbol of authority. In our thoughts we exhaust everything when we say “the heavens and the earth”. Well, then, in everything is the working of God’s power, and will and authority. Everything of course includes spiritual things as well as things of sense.”
The Maulana Muhammad Ali translation says: “His knowledge extends over the heavens and the earth, and the preservation of them both tires Him not”.
Notice that the symbolism of the throne has taken on astronomical/universal considerations. Astronomically, Auset/As’t/Isis represents the star Sirius A and her husband Asar/Asr/Osiris represents Sirius B. However, it must be noted that Osiris/Asar represent other stars as well, thus giving Asar multiple astronimical considerations.
According to Robert Temple in The Sirius Mystery, “The Bozo tribe in Mali, cousins to the Dogon, describe Sirius B as ‘the eye star’” and “Sirius A as ‘seated’ – and a seat is the sign for Isis.” It is also noted that in many African tribes, the king’s throne is known as the mother of the king.

The God Knowledge of Ancient Egypt and the Nation of Islam

The root teaching that ties both the Ancient Egyptian  and the Nation
of Islam theologies is that God is self-created.  This has far
reaching implications because men and women make things happen.  The
first God is the ultimate Self Starter.  He was not lazy.  He endured
excruciating pain while creating Himself, as all human beings must go
through whether emerging from the womb while being born to trying to
master a certain discipline.

   Modern scholars say that the (ancient Egyptian) self creation of God
is a myth because of the present Caucasian construct of evolution.
Many Black scholars also accept this Caucasian concept, even those who
acknowledge and praise the ancient Egyptian cosmology/philosophy.  How
paradoxical!

   The Honorable Elijah Muhammad, continuing in the line of the Ancient
Egyptian priests and scientists, taught that God is self-created.
This has not been taught for several thousand years to the public.
Yet, in order for man to know himself he has to know his origin.  How
he came into being.  When he came into being.  Where he came into
being.  And, more importantly, why he came into being.

   Although the ancient Egyptians did not teach the complete knowledge
of God, for example, Him being a man and man, they did, however, give
plenty of reasons for one to draw the conclusion regarding the
complete divinity of man.
   The ancient Egyptian cosmological construct begins with the
self-creation of the originator of the heavens and the earth.
Firstly, what we can deduce from this concept is that the Originator
must be a material entity and not a spirit.  In order to reproduce
self one first must have created self. All that lives, from the single
cellular entity to human beings, all follow the law of self
replication or self reproduction.
The Honorable Elijah Muhammad teaches that the First God (Black Man)
after creating Himself studied himself and brought into existence
another being from Himself.  This was His first Act of Creation.  That
Second Being (the Black Woman) was feminine in nature created with the
same material in her matrix (which consists both mind and womb) that
the First God Self-Created Himself in-which is the vast deep Black
Womb of  Space.

Remember, He was self-created in the vast Black aqueous Womb of Space.
After He finished Himself He studied Himself and made another being
from Himself but with the capacity to create or reproduce by placing
that which He created Himself out of  and made Himself in in her.  It
is impossible for man to exist without woman.  As it is impossible for
life to exist without energy or spirit.  For it is energy (spirit)
combined with matter that produces life.  That makes this a material
universe. And that, of course, would make God more than a spirit or
spirit; God would have to be human.  Again, if God is a spirit, why
the need for a material universe.  If it were a spirit universe there
would be no need for matter.

Today, fifty seven years ago (June 9, 1956) the Pittsburgh Courier published the first article written by the Honorable Elijah Muhammad for its publication. The Honorable Elijah Muhammad's column was titled "Mr. Muhammad Speaks". The column lasted a little over three years. Here is the first article of that column which was untitled.

Mr. Muhammad Speaks

          His great teaching and warnings to us (the so-called  Negroes), is BE YOURSELF.  What is our ownself?  He answers that "Your ownself is a righteous Muslim, born of the Tribe of Shabazz."
      He taught us that we are the original people of the earth who has
no birth record.
      He calls on us to SUBMIT to HIM that He would sit us in heaven at once.  He made it clear what constitutes heaven on earth, freedom, justice-, equality, money, good homes and friendship in all walks of
life.
     This Christianity cannot give us (not the Christianity that has been taught us).
      HE GREATLY rejoiced over us and was real happy that He had found us.
      He said that He would make a new people out of us who submit to
Him by causing us to grow into a new growth, not an entirely new body
but a reversal of the old decayed body into a new growth, which He
said would make us all as we were at the age of 16.
     There will be no decay in this new growth of life.  He also stated
that the next life is a life of unlimited progress.
      He taught us the things that were and are and a glimpse of the
things to come.
     HIS FIERY warnings of the judgment of this world makes one feel as
though there would be a very very narrow chance for any life to
survive such a destruction.
   He taught us that our foreparents were deceived and brought into
America by a slave trader whose name was John Hawkins in the year
1555.
   Just what happened to our fore-parents and we their children after
landing here in the Western Hemisphere would make a dog weep and fight
if her pups were treated in such manner as our forefathers and their
children were treated.
     OUR FIRST parents who were brought here, He said that, they were
killed after giving birth to their first babies, to prevent them from
teaching their children anything of self or of their God and people.
     This act of murdering our forefathers by the slavemasters left
their children to be taught and reared in whatever pleased the
slavemasters and we are from those children.
     That made us blind, deaf, and dumb to the knowledge of self or
anyone else and it stands true today that, the American so-called
Negroes don't know themselves or anyone else and the worst of all they
don't know that they don't know themselves or others.
     We can't be considered a free people as long as we are in the white
slavemasters' names; this the white man never advise the so-called
Negroes to do, but yet claims that we are free.  He also refused to
teach us the truth of our kind, their civilization before bring[ing]
us into slavery.
      THE KNOWLEDGE of Allah, the Supreme Being, the true religion
(Islam) has never been taught us by anyone before the coming of Allah,
in the person of Master Fard Muhammad.
     The whole of the Western white civilization is opposed to Islam,
the only true religion of God, therefore they (devils), don't teach of
Allah and Islam to us.  He said Christianity was organized by the
white race and they placed the name of Jesus on it as being the
founder and author to deceive the black people in accepting it.
      After our first parents landed here they saw that they had been
deceived by this devil John Hawkins.
     He brought them here on a ship named Jesus, this ship when on its
way back for another load of our people, our fore-parents stared at
the old slave ship as it departed and begged to be carried back, but
to no avail and they said that "You can have this new Western world
but give us the ship Jesus back to our people and country," which now
has become a song among our people, which goes something like this,
"YOU CAN HAVE ALL THE WORLD BUT GIVE ME JESUS."
      But, our poor foreparents did not know at that time, that it would
be 400 years from that day before the real ship Jesus (GOD HIMSELF)
would come and get them and their children and cut loose every link of
the slave chain that holds us in bondage to our slavemasters by giving
us a true knowledge of self, God and the devil and wipe away the 400
years of tears, weeping, mourning and groaning under the yoke of
bondage to the merciless murderers.
     THE SLAVEMASTERS' children are doing everything in their power to
prevent the so-called Negroes from accepting their own God and
salvation, by putting on a great show of false love and friendship.
      This being done through integration as it is called, so-called
Negroes and whites mixing together, such as, schools, churches and
even intermarriage with the so-called Negroes, and this the poor
slaves (the so-called Negroes) really think that they are entering a
condition of heaven with their former slave-holders, but it will prove
to be their doom.
     Today, according to God's Word that we are living in is the time of
a great separation between black and white.
      The members of every nation must go to their own and the American
so-called Negroes are the most handicapped in the knowledge of just
what they should expect at this time.
